Reading Reponse - "Stone Fox"

In the story, Stone Fox, at the end of chapter 4 "The Reason" Little Willy learns exactly why Grandfather has given up on life. We are introduced to a new character, Clifford Snyder, the tax collector who is demanding the $500 Grandfather owes in back taxes. What do you predict Little Willy will do now that he realizes that they are in a much bigger dilemma than he thought? When you state your prediction make sure you explain WHY you think that will happen.

    I think that willy will win over Stone Fox and give Clifford Snyder the prize money.

    I predict that little willy will enter the dog sled race and try to beat stone fox. And win the five hundred dollars to save his grandpa. I think that because little willy believes in him self and he will try so hard!!!

    I think that Little Willy will ask Clifford Snyder if Willy could have a few more days to get the $500. He will enter a dog sled race and try to win so he could get the $500. I think that because he knows the race is coming up and Willy doesn't want to loose his farm.

    I think that little Willy will sell most of the crops on the farm,enter the dog sled race and do anything else that he can do to save grandfather and get the $500 that he owes for tax money because little Willy has already been trying anything he can do to save grandfather and get the $500 that he owes for tax money

    I predict that Clifford Snider will demand them to pay the taxes on a day and if they don't, they will lose their farm. I think this because they haven't payed the taxes for a long time and when Little Willy spots a dog sled race poster. I think he will join because since the prize money is $500 he want's to enter it.

    I think that little Willy is going to give Clifford his college money and he doesn't have enough. But when he sees the sign of the dog sled race,he joins it because if he would win the dog sled race he would get 500 dollars.

    After little Willy saw the poster about the dog sled races he wanted to do it. If you win you win $500. I think little Willy will win the dog sled race because Searchlight and little Willy run every day after school to home.

    I predict after Willy heard about the $500 that he owes Clifford Snyder he's going to be very frightened. He's going to hear about the sled dog race to earn the $500 he owes.

    I think that Little Willy wants a few more days and enters the dog sled race. Because the prize is 500 dollars and that is enough to pay back all the taxes. to save the farm and grandfather.

    I predict that Willy will find a very hard job, because usually pay you a lot. If little Willy doesn't have $500 he will still work, if little Willy has $500 he will give Clifford Snyder the $500 then he will have the farm back.

    I think that Willy will give Clifford Snyder his college money and enter the dog sled race that Lesters suggested to him so he can save his Grandfather with the 500 dollars.

    I think that Little willy will ask Clifford Snyder to wait 10 more days to enter the dog sled race. Then he will 500$ dollars to save his farm and grandfather.

    I predict that Willy will find a hard job, because usually hard jobs pay you a lot. Willy will see if he has $500 after he worked for a while, if he does have $500 he will give Clifford Snyder the $500. If he does not have $500 he will work until he has $500. I think Willy does this because he is a determined boy.

    I think that little willy will lose to Stone Fox in the dog sled race and not get the $500 dollars because Stone Fox has never loss in a dog sled race.

    I the stone fox will hurt search light because he thinks that they might win. but I think they still they will win win 500$ dollers
