Luciano's Informational Books

The students in third grade worked extensively in our informational writing unit to create an expert book on a topic they felt they were highly knowledgeable about. The started with an idea they considered themselves "experts" on therefore requiring little to no research. They had to come up with chapters that followed a logical order, elaborate on their ideas within each chapter and provide supporting text features that would enhance and support their information. We worked on numerous drafts to edit and revise our writing in order to come up with our final project. The students then used Google Presentation with the assistance of our computer tech teacher, Chris Casal, to input and showcase their information. We hope you will enjoy reading and observing all of their final products. The students welcome any positive and constructive feedback you may provide that will help them make any improvements to their current project as well as inform their learning for any future projects they will undertake. Thank you and enjoy!
